Interstate All Battery Center to Appear on Franchise Interviews Thursday, June 18 at 10AM EST. One of the most difficult times financially for any new business owner is the time between signing the lease and when the cash register starts ringing. Interstate All Batteries Franchise and Development, the franchisor of Interstate All Battery Center (IABC), which has seen record franchisee signings this year, says it has built in a way to ease that with immediate sales opportunities before a franchisee’s doors open. As a result, the company experiences increased sales, franchisee signings and especially franchisee satisfaction. "Our recent franchisee survey revealed outstandingly high satisfaction among IABC franchises," said Franchise Business Review President Eric Stites. "IABC’s unique concept offers investors stability and greater opportunity for success. Through its proven business-to-business program, franchisees are able to hit the ground running, ramping up their business much faster than traditional retailers." In most cases, IABC sells franchise markets where the company’s commercial inside sales group has already secured existing business. These established commercial accounts provide franchisees with immediate income and offer established customer bases. "In a competitive marketplace like franchising, it is critical to distinguish your concept," said Interstate Batteries Franchise and Development Director Justin Darland. "IABC’s concept provides our newly signed and trained partners to begin selling in the business-to-business market immediately, even before they open the doors to their retail location." Additionally, IABC offers franchisees sales support in prospecting and maintaining accounts through its B2B Inside Sales Department. The department consists of more than 40 highly-trained business-to-business account managers, each dedicated to specific partners and driven though telesales to grow accounts. Proven results (a 2005-2008 inter

Before President O took office and before President B left office, the whole world hoped against hope that incoming President O would make a difference regarding world peace...specifically calling for an end to the war in Iraq. Today came the announcement that President O was the recipient of the Nobel Peace prize after less than a year in office and certainly with no end to the war (in Iraq) or rumors of war elsewhere (in Afghanistan). Interestingly, our Savior, Jesus weighed in on the topic thousands of years ago before he ascended. If it means anything to you, He said ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, see that ye be not troubled...Is the Nobel Peace Prize more posturing in politics than passage to peace? Or, is the promotion of peace by President O a fulfillment of Matthew 24:6 ...that we be not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Marilyn Niqui McCown was last seen at a Laundromat in the area of the 1000 block of South E Street in Richmond Indiana. While her clothes were either washing or drying, she went to her mother's house and voiced concerns about a group of Hispanic boys who had been harassing her at the Laundromat. She was reluctant, but returned to the Laundromat. She was last seen loading clothes into the back of her 1990 Jimmy 4X4 at around 2:45 in the afternoon. The GMC Jimmy with OH License Plate # CNC6753 was located abandoned on 03-NOV-2001 in the Meadow of Catalpa apartment complex. The stereo and battery to her vehicle were missing, and her door lock was knocked in. However, her laundry was found still folded inside the back of the vehicle. Tonight, her sister will join us live on our show.
I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. – Revelation 2:19 (NIV) Last weekend at the Writer’s Advance Boot Camp, God shut me down. Saturday morning I stood at the podium preparing to present (how’s that alliteration, class?) but the laptop refused to boot up. I pushed the on button, wiggled the plug in the power strip, and finally said: “That’s odd. It was working a second ago.” I wonder how many times Christ says the same thing about me. Peter: “Lord, what’s wrong with Eddie? Is he in sleep mode?” Jesus: “Beats me. He was working a while ago. Drove the homeless van, taught Sunday school, kept the web site up for the church. Now, nada.” Peter: “You want me to give him a hard reboot?” Jesus: “No. Let’s wait and see if he comes back on his own. Could be his battery’s shot.” Is your battery shot? Mine was after last weekend. Doing good deeds will wear you down. Loving folks will frustrate you. Serving others will often stretch you beyond your financial means, human skills, and emotional limits. So yeah, Monday, after a weekend of deeds, love, and faith-filled service, I was powered-down. Moments before I was about to say a bad thing to my laptop, Cindy bent down and lifted the power strip. “Here’s the problem, you nitwit. You haven’t plugged the power strip into the wall.” Sure enough, I’d been running (avoid passive writing, class) off the laptop’s battery instead of the AC outlet. How many times have we... I will be communicating with deceased loved ones and possibly tuning into ghosts, spirits and hauntings, If you dont know the name of the spirit haunting you or your house they will not communicate. I have in my life, had a battery operated piano play on its own, cleared out an energy of houses, one of which in Oakland Ca A man . I cleared out the energy of the house of a man who commited suicide, had a book case get rearranged, many things moved to another place or just disappeared and many more crazy story and other spirit stories stories. I saw my first spirit when I was 16 I woke up to a face staring at me on my wall and the room temperature changed. I had my dead aunt contact me. I have been speaking with the dead ever since. Spirits usually communicate things to to the people who want to contact them. Personal things that only that person would know. Sometimes its breezes on the shoulder or tickling. I was in Mexico visiting a friends ex girl friend. The mother had died when she was a child . The mother spoke to her sister and told her she knew that the sister had put a white rose on top of the grave. I want to help you release any feelings of guilt or unfinished words or feelings . I read the "Gift" which is a book about people knowing before they were going to die. A lot of time people choose to die while you go get there mail, to spare you. the pain I worked as a Home Health aid and Hospice . That happened to a client. I was staying with a patient on hospice. The son went to the drug store for his mom, while he was gone about 30 minutes, she decided to die and she did. I also choose to stay with my mom the day she died. I was taking care of her mostly along with my sisters. My sister stated at age 40 that she had never seen a dead person before my mom had even died. So I knew I had to be there
TrendMakers Show with host Ron Dresner talks with Bloomfield Bicycle & Repair Shop owner Mike Wolf about the growing popularity of electric bicycles. Bloomfield Bike, located in Bloomfield, Connecticut, offers the regions largest selection of electric bicycles including ebikes from Prodeco, EZ Pedaler & Legacy. With skyrocketing gasonline prices, Bloomfield Bike has become New Englands favorite destination to checkout these new hi-tech electric bicycles. Electric Bikes can travel upto a distance of 40 miles and at speeds of upto 20 miles per hour. Mike Wolf from Bloomfield Bike talks about the details and ease of use with electric bikes. “Purchasing a bicycle is one of the ways Americans have been reacting to increasing fuel prices. During these days of $4 to $5 a gallon for gasoline, the pennies it takes to charge a bike are saving our customers hundreds of dollars each month,” explained Mike Wolf, co-owner, Bloomfield Bicycle & Repair Shop. “With the emergence of newer technology, these new eBikes are becoming very popular. Electric bikes are inexpensive to operate, friendly for our environment, need no gasoline, easy to park and can go around or through traffic jams. There are about 119 million eBikes in service today worldwide. We have people from all points in Connecticut, New York and New England visiting our shop to preview our eBikes.” An electric hybrid bicycle combines the rider’s pedaling with a battery-powered motor. It lets the rider get their work out and yet when faced with riding up a steep strenuous hill, it’s what helps the rider move faster and more easily than a regular bike. They also can reach speeds of up to 20 miles per hour and do not require any legal registration, license or insurance.

Like many students of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM), alumni Paul Wang and Faye Luong studied acupuncture so that they could help people using natural, side-effect-free health care. Because these treatment programs often involve regular and frequent treatment sessions, they embraced the traditional group-based acupuncture models of Asia to keep costs within reach of more members of the community at their San Jose acupuncture clinic, Living Room Acupuncture. The community acupuncture clinic, located at 1630 Oakland Road A110 in San Jose, offers a sliding scale of $20 to 40 for regular clients who have need of treatments averaging 45 minutes. Patients are allowed to stay at the clinic with the needles in as long as they wish to feel the full benefits of the treatment at no additional charge. “Some patients have a lot of underlying fatigue or deficiency, and they need to stay longer to recharge their battery,” said Wang. After an initial consultation, Wang and Luong evaluate patients and develop an acupuncture plan that can be performed in a group setting. The treatments typically focus on distal acupuncture points, which are mainly located on the hands, forearms, feet and lower legs—as well as some scalp and ear points. “I actually enjoy the community part of it,” said Ho. “I always got the sense that if I need some more privacy, I could go into another room and have some more specific attention.” The clinic offers English, Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese and Spanish speakers. For more information about the clinic, contact the Living Room Acupuncture clinic at (408) 260-2458. For more information about the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM), call Alissa Cohan at (415) 355-1601 x 12.
